Totaling my car after two months…🚗

Yes, I’ve actually did total my car after having it for two months.

For my 16th birthday, I was gifted my dream car, which was the VW Jetta ! I still love this car and miss it so much!

I have learned my lesson, and I am very responsible when it comes to driving, and attentive! But This was five years ago now so it’s been a while but from what I remember I was driving and my phone slid on the floor and I was trying to grab it, not that I even needed it but I just wanted it in the cupholder I guess? I was reaching reaching reaching, and I had to reach further. When I reached further, I took my eyes off the road and my wheel was going right, and I crashed into a parked car😬😬😬😬

My car made like a 180 turn when that happened and my car was in the middle of the street so I tried to move it out of the street but I broke my axle so that wasn’t gonna happen and I just couldn’t move my car. I just sat there in the middle of the night waiting for my parents to show up when they finally came. We just got it towed and I definitely learned the hard way to be way more attentive and responsible and caring about honestly anything.

Looking back at it now, my family and I pretty much joke around about it but at that time it was definitely not a joke and I felt so terrible and I made sure to always be super careful when driving from then on

So I’m here to tell you , always be super super careful especially if you’re just getting your license because you still have a lot to learn and I know the feeling of just getting your license and getting your new car and thinking that you’re kind of invincible on the road… That’s definitely not true so make sure you know that and make sure to be careful and do not even think about your phone when you’re driving!!!
