Rosacea Awareness!

I debated about posting these images here. Mostly because of my fear of judgment. But the whole point of my page is to show REAL skin and real skin issues. It’s Rosacea Awareness Month and this is what rosacea looks like for me. If you suffer from rosacea, you’re not alone!

I haven’t had a flareup in quite some time, but I think with all of the sickness that we’ve had over the last couple of months, it’s really triggered my skin. I thought I’d show you what I typically do when I do get a flareup. I feel like my rosacea flareups don’t last as long as they did initially (maybe a couple of days at most)and I try my best to not let it consume my life anymore.

For days when I do get a flareup, simplicity is key. I use a gentle soothing moisturizer and facial spray (I like the one from @erborian and @tower28beauty ). Then I use my CC red correct to help soften the look of redness while delivering extra hydration. In addition, I try to drink lots of water and eat less inflammatory food.
