for all the pet owners or lovers out there, rejoice! Here’s a pet friendly cafe AND grocer in the west to bring your beloved furballs to!

a bit further off from jurong (near SAFRA) is surrey hills grocer, a fusion grocer x cafe that is all about being pet friendly and sustainable. Feel free to chill here with your furry friends while catching up with your human one, or shop for your own necessities & pet essentials in the supermarket! Other than fresh produce, they also have pet equipment like harnesses and leashes. The furballs will be happy to know that there’s animal friendly icecream sold there as well!

I haven’t gotten the chance to try the food here but the dessert was definitely appetising. i had the strawberry waffles ($18) and it was such a HUGE portion that we could almost not finish it! the waffles were hot and crunchy on the outside, yet soft and chewy on the inside. The icecream was definitely the cherry on top!

We also tried their coffee here since they had a 2 for $12 promotion on their house blends. Coffee wasn’t too bad, but it didn’t really leave an impression. I’d give it a 3.75/5 tbh, don’t think i’d really travel this far just for the coffee!

Total damage was $30 (pre GST) for 2 pax, and it was honestly really enjoyable being in the presence of so many furballs since i love them! They were all really well behaved too so feel free to bring your kids here without scaring them off! Might visit again when i’m in the west but i don’t think it’ll be a place i’ll specially detour for!
