I love creating a sacred space when I practice yoga. Sometimes I unroll my mat, sage, put on my favorite essential oil, and light a candle. It helps me get into a calm state.

Here are 4 yoga poses to unwind from the day:

1) legs up the wall

This is the BEST yoga pose to do if you have lower back pain! You can stay here 3-5 minutes.

2) cow face with eagle arms

This opened the hips and shoulders. I like to take a few cat/cows in this position by being my elbows to my knees then reaching up.

3) half lord of the fishes

It always feels so good to twist! I love adding the double helix and looking over the front shoulder

4) happy baby

This one invoked the child like wonder and always makes me smile :)
