WHY PPL GET TATTOOS ON FRIDAY THE 13th?

🕸The tradition of getting tattoos on Friday the 13th is thought to have originated with sailors who believed that tattooing the number 13 on themselves would protect them from bad luck. Sailors may have adopted this practice after observing it in other cultures they sailed to. The idea was that seeing the number 13 would mean that bad luck had already passed them by.

The idea that Friday the 13th is unlucky likely comes from Christianity. In the Bible, Judas, who betrayed Jesus, was the 13th guest at the Last Supper.

For us Tattooers, Friday the 13th has become something like an anticipated holiday when thousands of people get inked, especially in NYC it has become a tradition.

I've participated in events in the past, this year I'm keeping the tradition but l've prepared only 3 designs that will be available from Friday the

13th until October 31st and can be booked on my website for the normal prices of my flashes.

Even though it's a fun and traditional day it's still my job to put all my effort and skills into each design I do making them unique and exclusive, so don't expect me to offer 40 bucks tattoos like l've seen some shops advertising around town.
