My Parents Surprise 35th Wedding Anniversary Party

The details of my parents surprise 35th wedding anniversary dinner came together over the course of about a month. Once the location was selected and the menu was created, I was able to focus on the details that made it all feel personal, like the coral name card holders, because the gift you’d exchange on your 35th wedding anniversary is coral. The wine labels, custom made with their names and wedding date were from @Zazzle , the table florals were @wegmans , chiffon menu ribbons were from @Amazon and the menus themselves were @Minted . The cupcakes were also custom made, “AngelOreos” because my dad, Angelo’s, favorite cookie is Oreo, and “Eugenia’s Sweet and A Little Cheesy Cupcakes” for my mom, who is, you guessed it - sweet and a little cheesy! The flavor for those were strawberry cheesecake and they were made by Get Caked in Rochester . I love how everything came together. The look of surprise on my parents faces - followed by happy tears - was enough to keep me happy into the next millennium.
