Is this new gelato cafe worth the try?

Hi Lemon8!!! I tried Crazy Scoops Gelato Cafe today. It just opened yesterday. I was craving for some ice cream waffles, hence I decided to try this out.

I tried their Bluepea Vanilla and Sicilian Pistachio (double scoop $8 + $1 for each premium flavour) with waffle ($7) and it amounted to $17, which I felt was a pretty typical price for an ice cream waffles in Singapore (but not particularly budget-friendly).

They have a total of 16 flavours:

• Mango Passion Sorbet (Premium)

• White Chrysanthemum Cacao Nibs

• Thai Milk Tea (Premium)

• Bluepea Vanilla (Premium)

• Salted Caramel Toffee

• Seasalt Matcha (Premium)

• Sicilian Pistachio (Premium)

• Dark Chocolate (Premium)

• Simply Hazelnut (Premium)

Personally I really love their waffles, it was crispy and it tasted even better with the maple syrup. Bluepea Vanilla was not bad, but not my favourite. It was anticlimactic as I thought it would taste like the Bluemilk ice cream from Apiary 😂. My bf and I personally prefer their Sicilian Pistachio (you can’t go wrong with this flavour).

The neighbourhood is p chill with many old estate. As a result, you will see many elderly around the area. It’s located 5 minutes away from Mattar MRT station exit B. I will recommend y’all to try it out if you guys are nearby and craving for some delightful dessert 😋.
