HOME by Tales of Paws (Cattery): Worth going?

hello everyone! for my debut post on Lemon8, i’m sharing my experience at HOME by Tales of Paws (cattery) in JB. i realise there isn’t much information about this cat cafe, thus I’ve decided to make a post about it!

i secured a spot 30 minutes in advance via whatsapp (+60 19-213 3138), though walk-ins are welcome.

details regarding pricing, time slots, and more can be found on the last slide of this post. my friend and i visited on a weekday from 1:00pm-2:15pm, costing RM 58 each (SGD ~ $17). to note, they've recently reduced their session from 90 to 75 minutes.

before entry, you'll be given shoe covers (which amusingly resemble shower caps). upon entering, you'll be greeted by friendly cats eager to meet you — i recommend visiting before their meal to catch them at their most active!

the venue offered ample space for the cats to freely explore, and to my surprise, they even had a rare sphinx cat!

for just RM 5, you can purchase treats from the staff in the cafe itself to attract the cats. i’d suggest investing in these if you're keen on having the cats flock to you.

following the session, you can use their hair remover roller to remove cat hair from yourself and make your way to their adjoining cafe. with your ticket, you'll receive a complimentary bottle of mineral water and a choice of chocolate or vanilla ice cream. plus, enjoy a 20% discount on their cakes and drinks!

*they also offer a dog park where you can choose between corgis or other breeds. if you're interested, please refer to the last page of this post. to my knowledge, their cattery is indoors, while the dog park is outdoors! the staff mentioned that we could catch a glimpse of the corgis from the outdoor cafe before our cattery session. (see slide 8)

although it's a bit on the pricey side, I recommend the experience for cat and dog lovers!!!
