This restaurant has the BEST view in SG! 😍✨

Hello everyone! I haven’t posted about food in awhile, but I recently celebrated my dad’s birthday at Ce La Vi and wanted to share my experience!

The view at this restaurant is UNBEATABLE. Be sure to ask for an outdoor seat, preferably next to the railings for the best view. Also, try to get a reservation at around 6.30pm to catch the sunset (swipe to the last pic for an unreal sunset 🥺). It’s best to make your reservation a month in advance as slots get snapped up pretty quickly!

THE FOOD 😋

𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 4/5

These were super fresh and went really well with the ponzu sauce. Served on top a bed of ice keeping it chilled.

𝗔𝟰 𝗠𝗶𝘆𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗸𝗶 𝗪𝗮𝗴𝘆𝘂 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹 3/5

The wagyu slice was truly melt-in-your-mouth, and the caviar was a nice touch. However I felt like the the premium ingredients were overpowered by the rest of the roll. Still yummy though!

This was super yummy and unique. It was the perfect starter and the aioli it came with was great too. Guess you can’t really go wrong with fried stuff~

This is a great addition if you need some carbs in your meal. The potato was smooth and well seasoned, with shallots to top it off!

Pork was tender and I loved the addition of fruits and like pomelo that made the dish lighter, and acted as a palette cleanser.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗻 4.5/5

This was sooo well seasoned and was perfectly medium rare. 300g was just nice for an individual portion - don’t think I’d be able to stomach more than that! I loved that there was a sear on the outside, whilst the meat was tender and juicy on the inside.

I forgot to take a photo of our dessert, but this is a must for chocolate lovers! It’s not super jelak - I’d recommend sharing between two people. The dessert comprises of hazelnut praline ice cream and frozen balinese chocolate.

My only gripe was that our food took awhile to serve, but even then the staff were super apologetic and tried their best to constantly check on our order status. Other than that I would definitely return, especially for special occasions.
