My bf and I enjoy a good piece of steak every now and then during special occasions so when it was Valentine’s Day, we decided to try out Wooloomoloo after seeing it on some influencer’s post. 🙂

Specialising in premium Australian beef, Wooloomooloo’s signature cuts are accompanied by a menu of international classics and an extensive selection of wine and drinks. 🥩

To start, we were served with warm onion bread and a cube of butter while we were ordering our food. I like the crispy and moist exterior with the soft fluffy bread and proceeded to eat two at one go! 😅

What we ordered:

🥣 Lobster Bisque ($25) 💗

We asked for the bisque to be separated into two bowls and the portion was just nice for a starter! It came w a small lobster meat each and the bread was a great complement with the bisque! 🤤

🦀 Jumbo Lump Crab Cake ($39)

This crab cake was packed with meat! Definitely a must get if you’re a fan of crab, but if it’s too much for you, can skips this and opt for the beef instead since they’re more well known for those!

🐄 100% Grass Fed Filet Mignon 220g ($77) 💗

This is my favourite dish of the night! I like that the cut is not too fatty and is real THICC. It was just the right amount of tenderness as well so you don’t have to keep chewing it non stop 🤣

🥩 USDA Prime Ribeye 450g ($128)

The ribeye cut was also pretty good though for its price point, I would opt for the filet mignon instead. I’m not a steak foodie but this was had the right amount of fat and I like that it came with different sauces and salt for us to choose from. 🧂

🧀 Truffle Mac & Cheese ($20)

This was the most underwhelming dish of the night as it was pretty jelak after a while and the dish was just a cheesy dish without much flavour profiles. ☹️

🍫 Wooloomooloo Hot Chocolate Cake ($19) 💗

The choco cake was pretty good! We love a good combi of hot molten choco ooze and cold ice cream… 😋 Definitely recommended to try their other desserts on the menu to end off the night 👍🏻
