🎊🎉I got into my college program to be a RRT!!!🎊🎉

After going through eviction and successfully avoiding it, in the middle of it, I was praying hard to God. Asking him that if I survive this, I will change my major and just get a 2 year degree to sustain myself. And to satisfy my grandma last wish. To be the first in our fam to graduate college. Especially since she doesn't have much time left.

I woke up this afternoon and saw the email and balled. I got in. It still feels unreal to me. If I'm successful these next 2 years, I will be a Registered Respiratory Therapist. They make $45/hr starting out, some places $50/hr. Agency around $60/hr. And the job isnt physically taxing as my current one. If I succeed, I will be financially set. Not wealth, but I won't be breaking my body as a nurse assistant for years making half of the salary of nurses and therapists. It will all be over.

And my most important dream is to move to my most favorite place in the world. Boston, Massachusetts. Their hospitals are top 3 in the nation. And the city is....home. It felt more like home than my home in Illinois.And I promised. PROMISED I would get back there. With getting accepted into this program, I'm just one more step closer to blowing this small town and heading to greener pastures.

On another note, I was blessed with another job that pays better and is easier than my other. I have to work every weekend, but that is perfect for a college student. I'll have more than enough to decorate my space, pay bills, and live, honeslty, comfortably. Maybe even go on vacation this winter break to Boston to see what it is like during the winter.

Right now, I'm at the beginning of the race, and boy oh boy, I'm gonna run it and finish first!
