Baldur’s Gate 3 tips for beginners🗡️

Just starting your very first BG3 run and looking for a bit of guidance? No worries! I recently fell into the addicting trap of Baldur’s Gate 3, and now I am over 60 hours into my first playthrough.

Here are some little tips I have that I wish I knew at the very beginning:

1. When designing your Tav, balance your Abilities to avoid too many negative modifiers. That will make attacking, persuading, or identifying things much harder on your character. It’s easier for those just trying to get a hang of the game.

2. Take your dear sweet time learning all of the mechanics and don’t feel deterred from the complexity of the game, especially if you’re not familiar with DnD turn based layouts.

3. Save often!! Controversial opinion, but I’m all about reloading a save if you mess up or meet a fate you regret…

4. Long resting at camp will fully restore your health and magic, but it may progress the time of your map, changing or ending certain quests before you can start them!!
