💸 I DYED MY HAIR FOR $900SGD IN SHANGHAI 💇🏻‍♀️

😣 for context: my hair was in a wayyy worse condition before this and this was my last attempt in my pursuit of the perfect ash grey hair

🙂 i heard of this place from a friend while i was in Shanghai for a short 1 week trip, it's called Hair Whisper and there was a hair stylist there named Joe who was well-known for coloured hair so i decided to give it a try!

🧐 i had very low hopes honestly... because i had already tried dyeing my hair ash grey about 4-5 times before this and not once had the colour come off the way i wanted, but i was definitely not disappointed here!!!!!!!!!

🤩 after 2 rounds of bleaching to fix my uneven hair, grown-out roots, and uneven tone... and 1 round of treatment and colour... and a total of 6 longggg hours... ta-da! the perfect ash grey hair that i've always wanted 🥹🫶🏻

👀 was it worth it? well, considering the lack of service/drinks, price and duration it lasted (about 2-3 weeks... before it became blonde again...), i'd say no if you're not that obsessed. but if it's something you've REALLY wanted for awhile, don't have a budget and just want a major #GlowUp after having really uneven, horrible hair colours that you can't stand another second of, i'd say try it out! 😆😅 after all... you really only live once right? 🥳

😌 but honestly? any salon with good service that will get you through the 6 hours of bleaching, dyeing and treatment, and one that suits your budget... or doesn't but within your means... works! if you're looking for a hair #GlowUp but want to stay in Singapore, i like to go to Kimage and Style Na by Joel Park! there are many outlets for Kimage especially, and different price tiers that fit your budget according to the hair stylist you choose for both the above-mentioned salons 😙
