4 Spots for Greek/Mediterranean in NYC 🇬🇷

Looking to indulge in some Mediterranean or Greek food? New York has plenty! 🇬🇷 Here are my top four choices:

19 Cleveland; 19 Cleveland Place

$$ Contemporary Mediterranean on the border of SoHo. They have my favorite falafel burger of all time with just the right amount of spice. The ambience here is super lively and it can be hard to find a seat but it’s worth the wait! The chef comes from Tel Aviv so it’s incredibly authentic.

Lola Taverna ; 210 6th Ave.

$$$$ Cozy greek restaurant with a popping, well decorated outdoor space. I recommend making a reservation. The Lola salad with tomato or the hydra salad with watermelon are my go-to’s. The octopus is also amazing!

Avra Madison; 14 E. 60th St.

$$$$ A fun, upscale greek spot with a focus on seafood. The zucchini chips are amazing as is the lobster spaghetti. It’s quite sceney and busy, but the bar is a great option for seating.

Kiki's; 130 Division St.

$$ An affordable, rustic Greek restaurant in lower Manhattan. I waited an hour but it was forever on my list and is quite popular. There is not a name outside, rather the old laundromat name in Chinese still hangs there. The food is great; generous portions and high quality.
