Our go-to for oh so creamy hummus 😚

For our 6th monthsary, we travelled to sunny sunny Sentosa Cove. Seeing the many yachts 🛥️ and many blue blue 🫧 around put us in the mood for some Greek food

We ordered a couple of dishes to share:

𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗺𝘂𝘀 — $20 — 5/5 ⭐

The hummus is a must get and our personal favourite in this meal. The hummus was like peanut butter, creamy and smooth, sticking well onto the warm pita bread without being too sticky and being stuck in our teeth. Hummus generally tends to be very oily, but this had just the right amount of oil to coat the hummus

𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗚𝘆𝗿𝗼𝘀 — $29.50 — 4.5/5 ⭐

The Pita Gyros were packed with flavour, and you could taste the chargrilled smokiness of the meat that is held together by the warm embrace of the doughy wrap. The fries had to be the standout part of this dish, with it being surprisingly sweet to balance the sweet, smokiness and umami in this dish

𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗼𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮 — $27 — 3.5/5 ⭐

Lastly, we tried this savoury spinach pie. It was a bit too bland for our palates though the phyllo pastry was really flaky and served with general helpings of filling. Our general consensus is that we might not be adjusted to the original flavours of Greece, so as potential greek food lovers, your experiences may vary from us

(Our big regret is that we did not get the Baklava, but well… maybe for date part 2 we might try it and get Bak(lava) to u)

One other noticeable mention is the decor. This probably had the best vibe of all the places we have visited so far, with the aesthetic of the dishes, cups, plates matching that of that blue dreamy turquoise of Mykonos. Overall if you are feeling blue, or looking for some authentic Greek fare, pay Mykonos a visit for legit solid Greek fare
