making him an ig bf pt.2 📸

After coming back from my Phuket trip, my boyfriend has picked up skills from the locals there who helped us take amazing pictures. Their skills are so good that all my photos came out SOOOO good and my bf saw and learnt how to take them! 😆

1. Portrait Mode

Instead of taking photos normally, try the Portrait function on Apple where it helps to focus in the MAKN CHARACTER in the photo!😏 I also like how the photo quality comes out so much better and it looks so professionally taken😎

2. Lighting

There are different lightings to choose from so depending indoors or outdoors u can get the perfect lighting for ur pics!☀️

3. Position (Vertical Grids)

I really love how Apple provides the grids to help better position people/items. For candid kind of pictures, i like to be in the left or right columns, showing more of the background. With the main focus on the me, i can position them in the middle column!😉

4. Headspace (Horizontal Grids)

As mentioned in my previous post, i like to have space above my head. I prefer to take 1/3 of the top grid and have 2/3 of headspace😌 It ensures that i am not taking up majority of the picture and it is a nice balance of background and me!😝 the horizontal lines also help to straighten the photo and align it to the base☺️

These are not expert advices but just my preference and skills we picked up!
