where to go in batam? 🏝️☀️

Hiii besties!

I travelled to batam not long ago with my friends and figured out that I should make a content about what I did when I was there (since yall loved my travel content hehe) 🇮🇩🏝️☀️

There’s a few places that we went to throughout our 3D2N, we booked our transportation online and took a ferry from Harbourfront to Batam Ferry Terminal! ⛴️ the entire journey is roughly around an hour ish?? would recommend to pop some drowsy pills 💊 for fellow friends who have sea sick so that you won’t feel giddy when you reach batam!

firstly, i would like to highly recommend the hotel that we stayed in, Santika Hotel. 🌺 It is super clean, near to ferry + good food & service !!! would totally come back and stay there again :))

The few cafes that we went to include the Deep Sea Beach Cafe… 🌊 that is a solid 10/10 … the view is facing towards the beach so obviously it’s amazing af … bruhh don’t get me started on the food man… usually atas beach clubs food sucks but this one sucks good man. It is hella amazing and the portion is huge too. 😍 We have four people sharing a huge platter and we devoured that entire thing up man. Really pretty + it’s new! The vibe sis immaculate at night too!! 😫😍 We also went to the Santorini inspired cafe in batam, food was honestly quite disappointing, overpriced + overhyped.. 🙁🙁🙁wouldn’t exactly recommend yall to go unless yall r really care typa peopleee ~

As for the water sports activities, we played a total of three activities.. banana boat, jetski, ATV. Banana boat 🍌 was surprisingly the most fun, probably cause everyone got to sit together and hold onto our dear life praying that we don’t fall into the water (there were lots of laughter, so I would recommend experiencing it with your friends, it would be a hell of a ride!!) it was our first time trying out jetski too, probably cos the area was small so it wasn’t as much fun as the banana boat where we literally got carried around the waters. ATV was sadly disappointing because the weather made the route very muddy and our ATV motors had some problems halfway thru too which lowkey affected our experience.. if you’re wondering, we had our sports activities done at Harris Waterfront Hotel ✨

If there’s one food location that I would revisit again, it would be Wey Wey Seafood Restaurant. food was reasonably priced + it tastes sooooooo great. I loved it. We finished everything we ordered and pls order the salted egg sotong 🦑 !!! It saurrrr gudddd!!!! I loveeeeeeeee 🤤🤤🤤

oh and also we went to several shopping malls and we found shake shake in one of them! if yall got the chance to, please go try shake shake!!! I am a huge fries lover and SHAKE SHAKE totally DID NOT disappoint at all!!!! i ordered the truffle fries 🍟 and i still think about it every now and then HAHAHA 🤤😍🤤✨
