wallet vs card holder | which is more friendly?

wanting to invest in a more luxurious brand to house your cards and cash? Let me share with you my experience after owning 1 wallet and 1 card holder!

I got the YSL wallet ($820) first, as a gift from my boyf 🥰. (I got him a LV wallet in return) we were really happy and excited to own a branded wallet. It consists of 10 card slots, cash compartment and a zipped compartment for coin! The coin compartment is rather hard to retrieve coin so a bit troublesome, else its a good wallet!

Gucci card case ($400) was also gifted by my boyf 😂 for our anniversary! It consists of 4 card slots and middle compartment can put some cash or extra card. I put my cash and a ezlink card for emergency or car park. A card holder is much more flatter and compact so can be squeeze into your tiny little bags like c&k gabine, dior saddle which the ysl wallet is too thick to be put inside these structured tight-space bags.

If you have many cards and preferred your cash to be unfolded + have a lot of coins, get a wallet! Im sure there are lots of other design and brands that are available in the market. For me, a card holder is very much sufficient!! Sometime i dont even take out my card holder when im shopping, all thanks to my phone! I add my cards into Apple Wallet and use it for my transport and paywave. Many shops also accept grabpay, shopback, atome app to make payment so i dont even need the physical cards already!!

Also, the price of a wallet vs a card holder have a huge difference! Card holders are more pocket friendly. But it all depends on your daily use and habits!
