I have only read the first two which follows, Hadassah a Jewish girl tore from her country and brought to the Roman Empire and the second, Marcus who is a rich Roman who lives by his own standards. In the first two books you get to walk through their trials and test and really see how God is near to the broken-hearted.

I have been so moved by this series and it has grown my faith in God (which i can't say a lot about other books).
