Here’s what you can expect at Singapore Design Week, running from 26 Sep - 06 Oct 2024, organised by Design Singapore Council

This year’s design districts span a greater area within Singapore’s dynamic districts of Bras Basah.Bugis, Orchard and Marina. Look forward to exciting programmes, exhibitions and interactive installations across these districts! There’s something for everyone!

If you have kids, don’t miss Kinetics Energy Play by @playpointasia, the world’s first energy playground, over at the Linkbridge between @marinasquaresg and @milleniawalk. It’s a kinetic playscape and placemaking installation where sustainability meets fun! Hop on a special bike that converts your pedalling into optical illusions or run on a human-sized wheel to power up a captivating display. You can also check out Mooncycle over at @southbeachavenuesg that charges your phone as you swing. How cool is that! It’s all part of placemaking efforts to enliven the spaces in the @marinacentralsg precinct. Love it!

And if you’re feeling hungry after all that exploration, remember to check out EAT: Transformative Seeds over at Tipo Pasta Bar at the Stamford Arts Centre. It is one in a ten-part People of Design showcase Series presented across the @brasbasahbugis Design District. Learn and savour Pop power, a menu born out of a collaboration with Food Design Studio Atelier Fang. You’ll get to enjoy dishes from Puffed Sorghum to Grilled baby corn and Buckwheat Pasta. It’s a 10/10 and you simply must try!
