What you are currently doing might be the reason why you are slowing down your GAINS😩AND that is definitely not ideal when you are trying to get your dream physique or just to build muscles😣 How I wish I knew these things before I started my workout journey🥲 I know some of you seeing this post are either thinking of starting to workout or has just started working out‼️ I hope these tips will help you out along the way to get those gains💪🏻😋

These are 5 ways to MAXIMISE muscle growth👊🏻

😩TRAIN.TILL.FAILURE😩

Ooof this is a painful one but indeed very effective😰 First thing first, you shouldnt be training to failure every set😶 But instead train CLOSE to failure every set, meaning you still have enough strength for 2-3 more reps😯 What training to failure actually means is performing the exercise or lifting a certain weight to the point where you are unable to execute it with PROPER FORM🫠 When you train close to failure, you will be doing what is called the effectibe reps where most amount of force is being used thus leading to better muscle growth.

📈Progressive overload📈

You should always aim for progressive overload when you are training😮‍💨 It helps you not just build size BUT strength too🤑 When you are training, you are introducing stimulus which your body adapts to. Therefore if you wish to grow, your stimulus has to keep increasing⬆️ which can vary between reps, sets and weights.

🛑STOP CHANGING your training program🛑

Many people use a training program for 1-2 months or even weeks and when they feel like they are not seeing any results they change to a new one😵‍💫 when you are constantly changing your exercises, exercise order, rep ranges etc it is hard to keep track of your progressive overload which is the main principle of growing muscles🫤 HOWEVER, its okay to make small changes here and there. For instance if someone is using a bench and you are unable to work in with him, it doesn't make sense to wait for one bench for 15minutes..😓 Instead do a dumbell press🥳

🏋🏽Start with your heaviest weight🏋🏽

What i meant by start with your heaviest weight is not ego lifting or randomly take a heavy weight and start trying to do reps with it🤡. What I meant was, to start with the heaviest weight you can lift to complete that set or train close to failure😎 If you are lifting a weight that you are able to do without struggling at least a little you are technically doing a warm up set and not effectively working your muscles🥲.

🍖EAT your PROTTTEEEIIINNNNN🍖

I can't emphasise this enough but please EAT YOUR PROTEINNNSSSSS‼️‼️ You are NOT going to grow if you DON'T EAT YOUR PROTEIN🤬 After a long and strenuous workout, your muscles are bound to have small tears🧐 In order for the tears to be repaired and rebuilt, it needs things like PROTTTEEEEIIINNNNN🍗, RESTTTTTT😴and NUTRITION🥗. So if you wanna get big, EAT YOUR PROTTTEEIINNNN😬

BONUS TIP:

🎧Pick a good song🎧

Yea you heard me🤨 Training and eating right is important BUT without a good song to HYPE you up during your training session... WHAT are you doing mannnnnn...😫 personally those DAY TO DAY songs aren't get my heart pumping😶 HARDSTYLE is the way to go😈 Once my ears heard hardstyle songs, it became a need and an essential in the gym💀 It literally gets my heart pumping x10 FASTER😵‍💫 It will be exceptionally good on days when you dread going to the gym😐 TRUST😎
