preface: this is definitely not an advice post, its more of i need your advice 🥹 this is a continuation of my previous post about being ghosted by my best friend 😭 its been about 2 days and i havent gotten a reply from her, but she has been actively posting on social media. ive been thinking alot and i just wanna condense my thoughts into this post here so i can stop overthinking it and try to let go (for the sake of my mental health!) 💗 and i wanna thank everyone that helped me in my prev post, everyone that encouraged me and gave me advice, i really appreciate it so much 🥹🥹 so here goes

why (i think) she did it:

1. focusing on herself - shes travelling now, might be too busy to check her messages

2. our friendship didnt mean as much to her as it did to me - one sided friendship on my side? she has much more friends than me, so maybe she felt that i wasnt as important as her other friends

3. i made her feel bad about herself - bc we always hung out together, people started comparing us and that might have made her self conscious about herself

4. drifted - our friendship might have been too low maintenance that she felt that i wasnt there for her when she needed me? + we studied v diff fields so maybe she felt that we had no common topics? (i didnt feel this way though :( )

what can i do about it?

1. reach out & talk about it - have already tried this, but received no response from her for days ☹️

2. stop harping on it and heal myself - working on this 🥹 lots of yall adviced me to do this and i think its definitely something im gonna work towards!!

3. focus on other friends and cherish the connections i have now 🫶🏻 - definitely gonna hold all my friendships closer to my heart and not take anyone for granted 🤍
