Unicorn

My #fosterdaughter wanted a #unicorn party for her 5th birthday so of course that is what we had to make happen! Recently she wished on a dandelion for a unicorn that she could ride on. Things that made me very proud of hosting this party, and were also not too overwhelming as a #mom of 3 trying to be #extra

1. Food

I very much relied on Sam's club for this one. I bought some Hawaiian rolls, and spread some members mark chicken salad on them to make sliders, I got members mark pinwheels, a fruit tray, and a vanilla yogurt that I put a smidgen of dye in as well as purple sprinkles to make it pink and blue. I filled 🍿 boxes with different types of chips. We had a dessert table, including cake pops, unicorn cakes, sweettart ropes, and unicorn poop that I made myself using pebbles cereal and marshmallows.

2. The lunch was delicious! Use pink and blue ice cream, sprite, and white grape juice. So so good!

3. I quick activity to steer kids too as soon as they walk in the door is to make their own unicorn mask. They were only a few dollars on Temu for a pack of 20 and came with the little wooden scrapers to make their own designs. every kid from age 3, even a 10-year-old boy having a good time with it.

4. It was a huge expense, but she wished on a dandelion to have a real unicorn come to her birthday party and I just knew I had to make it happen. I used Crosswind farms. It was a bit pricy once my mileage was added, but with how big of a hit it was and how excited she was to have it...completely worth it! 10/10 would do it again.
