Why I WONT use the photo-booth here anymore

Hello lemons 🍋,

I’ve seen this photo-booth on lemon8 a lot of times but today I was here to try it out myself.

As you can see in the title , I don’t really like it as much as it was promoted. 😔

Here’s what I think that is good.

- The environment is very Korean-like with mirrors all around , an accessories corner & even tools to fix your hair before you head into the booth.

- I love the lighting on this one , not too harsh bright light and gives your skin this filtered look.

- Despite the dirty wall, it doesn’t show up on the photo so that’s good.

- 3 booth for you to choose with enough space to fit 4 pax or even 8 pax

- there is a chance to retake 1 time ( we didn’t know so we missed it )

- easy payment ! Both cash and contactless is accepted so paying is very easy.

Ok now here’s why I won’t be returning…

- The biggest issue I have is this is like a “ Headshot “ angle.

Im 166cm so I’m not short , but I had to TIP TOE to fit into frame as you can see why my eyes was looking down is because I panic and tried to position myself into the frame while tip-toeing + the timer was counting down 😫

It was at that moment that i understood why there was a stand provided… ( refer to pic 6 )

My bf tried to “ save the photo “ by doing the same look down pose so it looks planned.

For the other 4 shots we had to stand near to the camera to fit into frame. So definitely no body shot at all. JUST face. Even at the forth short we had issues trying to fit the “heart” + our face into 1 frame.

- because of the same angle issue , I think it’s very hard for this to fit more than 3 pax into one frame despite the bigger booth area…

Well I’m definitely not returning but you should give it a try and see how you feel about it 😊 oh but I can definitely see how this will be a good ID photo place with the lighting…

Head further down Haji lane and use this photobooth instead $5 photobooth
