Craft date with bestie | Hueplay

As part of our birthday celebration, my best friend and I decided to visit Hueplay for a punch needle workshop.

So what is a punch needle? Unlike conventional embroidery, a punch needle uses a hollow needle. The point of the needle is punched through a woven foundation fabric that creates loops of yarn. It is somewhat similar to tufting, except it is not done with a tufting gun.

Though the workshop at Hueplay is guided by the instructor, it allows you to be super creative with your choice of design and colours. We both picked different designs and ended up making a coaster and decorative piece each.

Would I recommend this? Definitely! It is great for a group of friends or even as a date activity.
