🍴MUST TRY BEEF SCORCHED POT RICE! - SOLSOT

If you're in Seoul, DON'T miss out on this place!

SolSot is a hot pot restaurant famous for its... 🎉HOTPOT RICE🎉 aka scorched rice! There are a lot of outlets around Seoul but i went to the outlet in Hanamdong! Solsot Hannam

I tried the Steak Hot Pot Rice and it was WOW! This place was easily one of the nicer places i've eaten in seoul during my recent trip! The beef was so juicyyy and flavourful and a foodie tip would be to eat it with wasabi - trust me. Theres a sauce to be mixed with the rice and being someone who loves really wet and saucy stuff, I just added the whole thing! - it is adjustable to your own preference :)

The Salmon Hot Pot Rice was also REALLYYY good! There was way more textures in this because of the ebikos and radish which went really well together with everything! The sauce for the salmon is different from the beef bowl though!

After eating your bowls clean, you can pour some broth into the hot pot bowl to enjoy some scorched rice (soup?) I personally did not really like nor dislike it as it was pretty bland to me but my dad devoured the entire bowl and my serving as well! 😂 I would say it just had a very earthy taste?

We also got the ebi fry as a side dish and damn was it pricy for the serving... there was only 2 pieces for (7,500won?)... im broke! BUT the ebi fry was quite good as well, nothing special but still tasty!

Downside: I WAITED DAMN LONG😞 I waited about an hour to get seated! The queue system is a little confusing as it is in Korean! But fear not because you can use google translate like I did and with my limited Korean language knowledge I managed! - essentially one needs to have a Korean phone number to get in line so they can call you when there is a table ready but if you don't have one, you can input 0000(if i remember correctly)! and order first outside before going in! - and then the waiting game begins...🕰️

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: 4/5! i definitely would come back again to order the beef bowl and probably try other menu items!!!
