Read THIS to decide on THE Digicam for you 📷

Digicams have been the latest obsessions and I've been seeing how viral both the Canon G7x and Sony Rx100 has gotten all over social media!!!

I bought the 📷 Canon G7x Mark III a couple of month ago, and is actually really tempted to get the Sony Rx100 VII lately. SO I've compiled a list of my deep dive into the🌷similarities and differences between the two to help YOU decide which digicam suits your lifestyle, needs and budget best 🫶🏼

☁️ Aesthetics of images

I noticed that the Canon G7x produces softer images to Sony Rx100, not to be confused by lowered image quality, but instead creates dreamier-looking photos 🌁 (which may also not be for everyone)

The aesthetics of images boils down to personal preference!!!

☁️ Editing or Straight-out-of-camera

Both cameras have awesome image outputs, BUT if you're someone who ✅ prefers editing your images, i would recommend the Sony because of how colour output is less saturated = easier editing!

Canon's output is a little more saturated and warm, which makes it perfect for posting onto socials straight out of camera 🤍

☁️ Viewfinder

Sony's got an electronic viewfinder! This makes Sony perfect for sunny outdoor shots when you can look into the little 👁️ viewfinder window to see your images clearly. Canon doesn't have this, but personally it wasn't a big concern of mine!

☁️ Overall thoughts:

The important features of both cameras are honestly on-par with one another, and i'm really impressed by both brands!

I do find that Canon works best for photos with people as it softens human features, whereas Sony works well with landscapes or concert-goers because of how sharp the images are, PLUS the crazy zoom feature and a viewfinder to get the most out of your experience.

I do recommend trying both cameras out in store because the ergonomics might feels different for each person. I do believe that THE camera would feel right in your hand!!! 🤍🤍🤍
