Is it Worth Spending $340 for a Celebration? 🥩🎂

I celebrated my 👫 boyfriend's birthday at Wolfgang Steakhouse this year, #recommendations by my bestie @gisele.rei 🤍 AND ive really got to say that this place SLAPS HARD - no regrets at all & definitely a revisit! 🫶🏼😋

Located within 🏨 Intercontinental Singapore (Robertson Quay), the steakhouse gives off cigar bar vibes 🚬 with the dim lighting and jazzy music 🎵 which was very apt in creating a fancy steakhouse atmosphere.

What we had:

🤍 Complimentary bread rolls

They serve unlimited bread🍞and butter🧈, and as a bread lover i had to catch myself a couple of times to stop eating the bread and save space for our actual meal 😭 The sourdough and garlic bread were so good though, if only i had stomach space for more 😳

🤍 Porterhouse Steak for Two $256

This is the HIGHLIGHT of our meal 😍 It's the best of both worlds as you're served both the sirloin and the filet minion 🥩 to share. The cuts melts in my mouth and it was honestly the best steak i've had in my life 🥺 Personally I did prefer the filet minion just a little more for the tenderness, but definitely the sirloin for its flavour 👨🏼‍🍳👌🏼

🤍 Steak Fries $22

These thick cut fries 🍟 came with salt, mustard and tomato sauce which balances out the umami of our steak well 🫶🏼 Its just regular steak fries and you can totally swap this out for the sautéed mushrooms 🍄 or baked potato 🥔! (recommended by our lovely waitress)

What really struck 🫨 me was the amount of food served, it's humongous for the average appetite. What we ordered was way too much for us and I would instead recommend this to be shared between 3! There were still 1/3 of leftovers even after we've stuffed ourselves completely. 🥡

The service was really excellent 🫶🏼 Our waitress gave us her recommendations 🌟 as it's our first time there, and also adviced us on the portion considering that it was just the two of us.

🎂 Since I made a reservation note that our meal is a birthday, they served complimentary tiramisu at the end of our meal ☺️ The portion was generous and it was really delicious and moist as well!

🌷 Overall thoughts:

I would recommend Wolfgang Steakhouse if you are looking for really good quality food! Their cuts tastes excellent in terms of both flavour and tenderness.

It's very chill vibes, not too atas in the way that you'd feel lost in the fancy restaurant. Come with a flexible budget and enjoy yourselves!! 😊
