A pink lake? Yes, that’s right! 🇦🇺

Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake was one of the places we saw on social media and were sceptical about. How can a lake possibly be pink?!

We visited it on our way down from Kalbarri and were impressed when we saw that it was really pink! The pink is apparently due to the salt crystals in the water.

❗️The salt crystals can be spikey and it’s recommended to wear either slippers or sandals to enter the water.

☀️ We went during summer and the water levels were low but it was still such a picturesque sight. We reckon it would be nicer with higher water levels and clear skies.
