🍤 Crispy rice flour rolls with shrimp

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

💰 Price: HKD 38 (SGD 6) for 2 rolls

Rice flour rolls that were crispy inside and we liked the mix of the crunch and chewiness of the rice flour roll. The amount of shrimps provided was quite sad though.

🍞 Shrimp toast rolls with yuzu and orange

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

💰 Price: HKD 33 (SGD 5) for 3 pieces

Shrimp toast rolls were quite disappointing. We couldn’t taste the yuzu and orange and the only saving grace was the slightly larger shrimp in each roll.

🍍 Pineapple buns with pineapple custard filling

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

💰 Price: HKD 25 (SGD 4) for 3 pieces

We wanted a bolo bun and ordered this. Bun was fluffy and the crust at the top was slightly sweet. The pineapple custard filling is similar to the ones in pineapple tarts. Overall, I prefer my pineapple bun without any filling.

🥟 Xiaolongbao

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

💰 Price: HKD 33 (SGD 5) for 3 pieces

The xiaolongbaos had a slightly thicker skin. The amount of soup inside was sad but was compensated by the generous pork filling.

🦐 Shrimp dumplings aka har gao

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

💰 Price: HKD 36 (SGD 6) for 4 pieces

Har gao was decent with a generous portion of shrimp. The shrimp was fresh and the skin of the har gao was not too thick and of the right chewiness.

🍮 Piggy custard buns

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

💰 Price: HKD 27 (SGD 5) for 3 pieces

Custard buns that came in the shape of a pig. Custard filling was a warm, oozey goodness! We tried to poke two holes in the nostrils to make the custard flow out from the nose but failed.

😐 Overall, this is a dim sum restaurant catered to tourists (mainly western) and it’s not as authentic. There were hits and misses but we wouldn’t go out of our way to eat there.
