Seafood so fresh the ocean hasn’t missed it yet!

Looking for some fresh and affordable seafood? You MUST check out Huaqiao Fish Market at Kaohsiung!

🦞 Inside the market, there are rows and rows of fresh seafood ranging from prawns, clams, lobsters and more!

🌊 You can also get fresh uni here! Just pick the size you want and the owner will wash and prepare it! Everyone was staring at us while we were eating the uni directly from the shell! Looks like it’s not a common thing in Taiwan?

🍽️ In addition, there are many food stalls selling sashimi and fish dishes. We visited No. 228 Wan Chiang (It’s yummy food 🙃) because the sashimi looked good. They take reservations by mobile number but since we didn’t have one, the staff allowed us to come back again in 20 mins.

🍣 We tried the sashimi platter, chirashi don, nigiri and oyster. All the dishes were delicious and super fresh! Service was on point and they offered us complimentary fish soup.
