Come visit this iconic train station in Taichung!

If you are taking a train to Taichung, be sure to check out Taichung Station Railway Cultural Park beside it. It used to be the old Taichung station and is now transformed into a cultural attraction.

🚂 The traditional architecture of the train station is being maintained and there are also a few old trains to explore and take pics with.

🎭 There are many art displays throughout the station. When we were there in April 2023, there were also many displays of Capoo as there was an ongoing Capoo pop-up event. There is a Capoo store selling merchandise and a giant Capoo (about 3-4 metres tall) at the back of the station!

🧋 If you are feeling a little hungry or thirsty after exploring, there is a food street in the train station to get your bellies filled.

👍 Overall, I feel that the highlight for us was the Capoo pop-up. Without it, the place might have felt a little empty unless it’s replaced by another pop-up.
