A day in Cleveland

I recently had a long layover in Cleveland!

Usually my layovers are like 12-18 hours but I had 24 hours in downtown Cleveland. I had never been before but I discovered the West Side Market! It was a train station but they turned it into a beautiful inside market bustling with stands with all sorts of foods from all over the world.

I had a gorgeous polish dog with freshly made sauerkraut! There’s a little back area where you can climb stairs and to the balcony and look over the entire market. It was so much fun to see all the hustle and have a moment of quietness.

But I of course had to buy a baguette, some pastries, macarons, and some sausage rolls for later! 10/10 will come again because it was so surreal. This is a beautiful market and it really brings the community together. The Midwest is definitely underrated and I’m excited to keep finding these unexpected gems <3
