Going to Ireland? Go here instead of Dublin…..

Some of you might already know about this place but it completely blew me away the first time I went.

Howth is an old seaside port in Ireland! It’s easily accessible from Dublin via train and it isn’t expensive at all for a round trip for the day. I went in October and so I was wearing a sweatshirt and a pair of sneakers because of the sea breeze. We probably hiked around 10km? It was a nice sizable hike around the peninsula.

There were plenty of cute cafes and restaurants as well but we were more focused on completing our hike! There’s also cute airbnbs and bed and breakfasts if you did want to stay overnight.

The town was founded in the 14th century and so it was fun to play “I Spy” for landmarks or buildings from that era. Overall, a lovely place for a day trip!
