Spent $60 on a meal in Chengdu💰

During my recent trip to Chengdu, I came across this viral restaurant trending on 小红书 (xiao hong Shu) and knew I had to go!

This 9 course meal featured not only delicious and unique food that changed throughout the seasons but also amazing performances and so many dancers + waitress making you feel like you have been transported to the ancient palaces of the Chinese dramas✨

🥘 Food

I went during their winter menu which featured unique dishes such as pigeon soup, turtle soup to beef fried rice and mushroom salads. All of the food there was delicious and don’t be afraid to try out the different cuisines thr :)

Service

The waitresses and waiters thr really went out of their way to sell us their concept of having lunch in the ancient Royal palaces through their performance and quick serving of the courses in between.

Make-up

For a few of 259 yuan for women and 198 yuan for men, you can have a full makeover (hair, makeup, clothes) to dress like your favourite 武侠/仙侠　characters!

However, this was on the pricier side compared to other places in Chengdu u have seen + they took about 1ish hour to do my make up and since I booked the 11.30am slot, I missed the front part of the show🥺

their selection of clothes were limited as well and I would reccomend having your makeup done somewhere else before coming for the show!

💸Price + how to book

Depending on where you choose to sit, there will be different prices as well.

We decided to go for the cheapest seats- 298 yuan per person and I think we still had an amazing view of the stage and could thoroughly enjoy each performance.

There are other seats ranging from 298, 398 and 498 for first row seats.

Reservation can only be done through we chat, 7 days before your chosen date and there is a deposit of 100 yuan per person and another 100yuan if you want to do your hair and makeup- payment has to be done through WeChat pay as well!

Overall I’ll give this place an 8.5/10 for the quality food and performance. Definitely an experience to remember and I’ll highly reccomend giving this place at least one try if you are heading to Chengdu!
