Is OVEREAT Overrated??

I SWEAR, I didn’t expect this buffet to turn out like this. I lowkey had a pretty high expectations on this by end up it’s pretty disappointing omgg 😒.

So firstly right when u enter the place, it looks like a freaky foodcourt, like hello this is a buffet @marina one, not some random place u find under a hdb block. So like all the tables were like so packed so closely to like one another and it was hard to move around without not banging into one of the chairs. It does not help that there are so many people eating 😫.

Secondly it is not worth the price. U know for 2 adults and for free flow drinks, the price was $101.42, I was like whatttt so exxxx. So for this price I expect the food to be good and with a certain amount of quality ukwim 🙃. The sashimi was not the best as it tasted too chewy for my liking and the oysters tasted not the freshest through its taste. U can say that wahh this buffet have free flow sashimi and oysters must be very worth it right, but end up the rest of the food were very mediocre as well 🤥.

Thirdly, with the amount of money I spent there I can find other good quality restaurants that are cheaper and more enjoyable.

3. Tempura Makino (Suntec, Vivo, Great World, Jewel)

4. Unagi Tei (Tangong Pagar)

Maybe I just went on a bad day cause it’s a Saturday night dinner so that’s why there’s a lot of people. These are just my opinions and if y’all wanna try it out, just do it. Overall my conclusion is that I think there are better option out there 😊.
