who else here hates running like i do!!! 🙋🏻♀️ be it running outdoors or on the treadmill, i always find myself dreading to run - that's totally #NotForMe 🥲 thankfully i've managed to find 5 BEST ALTERNATIVES TO RUNNING 🥳 and this post is for you all that hates running but still wanna workout 🫶🏻
1️⃣ SWIMMING
🏊🏻 it's a full body workout that helps to increase your lung capacity significantly
🏊🏻 swimming actually makes you work harder so 30 minutes in water can be equivalent to 45 of land activity
2️⃣ BOXING
🥊 excellent way to burn calories
🥊 other than it being a full body workout, it also helps to build muscles
3️⃣ HIKING
🥾 a super convenient way to workout because of how the SG government made alot of trails
🥾 it helps you raise your heart rate while going up and down the trails
4️⃣ CYCLING
🚴🏻♀️ this was my proudest achievement in 2022 - learning how to cycle because it's a super low impact exercise
🚴🏻♀️ also a good date idea to explore around SG!
5️⃣ SPINNING
🚴🏻♀️ another form of cycling but this is indoors & rhythmic-based!
🚴🏻♀️ the best alternative imho because my muscles have changed & i have gained alot from the past 2 years of spinning
