how to match w your bestie with individuality 👭🏻

my bestfriend and i have similar tastes in clothes so we tend to purchase from the same shops 😂 so when i did this post, we came to realise that we have >10 of the same/ similar fashion pieces & a handful of activewear items too 👀 but we're quite different in terms of personality & skin tone, so here's how we match without losing our individuality! 👇🏻

👭🏻 same design but different shades of the same colour

• i generally prefer darker denim shade while my bestie prefers the lighter one so it was a good contrast

• tops in contrasting shades also helped in elevating our skintone & still allowed us to be matchy

👭🏻 same design but complementary colours

• different colours make our skintone look better so we usually choose complementary colours for us to be matchy (e.g. pink and grey, brown and yellow, blue and orange)

👭🏻 colour coordination for a theme/occasion

• i tend to wear pants more while my bestie wear dresses more so we coordinated by wearing the same colour but in our own style for a photoshoot

👭🏻 activewear

• turning up for workout classes in pretty activewear is one thing, but your bestie having the same fit too?? PERFECT 😘
