pt 2 of hunting down pilates reformer studios 👇🏻

this time round i'm introducing studios where you can book their classes on classpass!! it's honestly really damn hard to find & these studios are the ones with relatively more classes + easier to book their reformer classes 👍🏻 to find out why i love pilates reformer, read here!

🧘🏻‍♀️ absolute

• 💸 3 essentials 60 classes for $59

• variation of classes - 8 class types with varying difficulty; essentials 60, fit&tone, abs&arms, butt&thighs, advanced fit&tone, reformer yoga, reformer stretch, reformer hiit

• facilities: ✅ showers ✅ water cooler ✅ towels ✅ toilet (go to the mall's if you're at centrepoint outlet, inside the studio for i12 outlet)

• the only studio that i've bought a package with - but it's also because there's spin & i can do both with the package that i bought!

• USPs: 1) 2 studios available - one in town, one in the east 2) the essentials class teaches you everything of the basics - recommended for first timers 3) teaches footwork settings (not sure if it's due to machine differences) but i found it useful 4) consistent style of teaching amongst instructors

• the only issue is they don't incorporate jumpboard & trx because of the space constraints & how the machine is different from other studios 🥲

🧘🏻‍♀️ push pull give

• 💸 on average 10 credits on classpass

• variation of classes - depending on the instructors preference & class sequence

• facilities: ✅ showers ❌ water cooler ❌ towels ✅ toilet

• it's an intimate space so good for the instructor to watch you & ample space to maneuver around!

• my biggest pet peeve about this studio - they don't have mirrors at the space 😭 so it's difficult to know my alignment & posture throughout the exercises!! they also use a different machine from the usual 🥲

🧘🏻‍♀️ line pilates

• 💸 3 classes for $120 (starter pack) & valid for 1 month

• variation of classes - depending on the instructors preference & class sequence

• facilities: ❌ showers ❌ water cooler ❌ towels ❌ toilet (go to the mall's)

• this studio seem to be more focused on private classes because they have 3 segments of private reformer equipment available

• but they have no amenities at all 😭 so make sure you refill your water bottle & bring a towel before coming for class 🥲
