I had to DNF!

It’s really rare that I DNF any book but this one I just genuinely didn’t enjoy unfortunately. 😭

The worst part about it is that I really wanted to love it because one of my favorite books of all time is Haunting and Hunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton! After I finished the cat and mouse duet I immediately started Does It Hurt? And I was very disappointed.

This is a dark romance, but for me the plot was very lacking. I wasn’t rooting for the characters and I didn’t care for the mmc.

I can see why so many people enjoyed this book though, her writing is amazing I just couldn’t get into it really.
