🍎 My favorite fall activity and tradition is to drive upstate to an apple orchard for the day with friends!

🍏 Some of my favorite orchards that I have visited over the years are Brooklyn Cider House, Weed Orchards & Winery, and Pennings Orchard, which are all located 1.5-2 hours north of NYC.

🍎 Most orchards have apple picking, pumpkin picking, fresh hard cider, multiple food options, live music, and lots of fall foliage.

🍏 The easiest way to get there is via car, so you may want to consider renting one for the day if you don’t have access to one normally.

🍎 The best time to go is late October for prime leaf colors but most orchards are open in September if you want to prioritize warmer weather.
