Jet Trys: Posting EVERYDAY on Lemon8 for 1 Month 😲

Hey friends, it’s Jet here, and wow, today marks my 1 month since joining Lemon8!! Time truly does fly right by you ⚡️ Since joining Lemon8 i have posted every single day! Did I survive? Well... barely. Did I learn some things? Definitely.

Here are my thoughts 💬:

1️⃣ The Excitement 😆

In the beginning, i was really hyped! Sharing my journey on language learning, entrepreneurship, interesting food places, my thoughts and my life? I was living for it! The excitement to connect with new people and put myself out there kept me going for the first two weeks.

2️⃣ The Highs ⬆️

💥 Engagement: The community here is super welcoming! You all really love language learning posts and give inside on my entrepreneurship journey thus far and im so grateful for that!! Your engagement & feedback motivated me to keep sharing 💛

🎨 Creativity Boost: Posting daily forced me to be more creative. Coming up with new angles on entrepreneurship, finding moments in my week to reflect on personal growth, or trying something new on Sundays — it pushed me outside my comfort zone!

😻 Recognition by Lemon8: I somehow got selected as a rising creator during my 2nd week, which is crazy and sth i nvr expected (at least not this quickly!) so im rly grateful for it bc it was really motivating to me!! 🔥

3️⃣ The Lows ⬇️

🧯 Burnout: By week three, it hit me. Posting every day isn’t easy, especially juggling school, work, and the pressure to be engaging. There were days when i just didn’t have the energy to write...

😕 Self-doubt: I started doubting my content. Its becoming a little hard to figure out what exactly people resonate with and what i resonate with, which caused me to doubt if what i wanted to post was going to be well-received (but i think like most things in life, the best option is a mix of both, but i figured that out the hard way)

So, what’s next? I’m thinking of diving deeper into language-learning hacks and maybe giving more of the real talk on juggling work + school. Let me know what you want to see next!
