Book Review : The Midnight Feast ✨

I love a good thriller with twists and turns that I cannot expect. I felt that way about the Guest List, arguably the most famous novel from Lucy Foley. I also enjoyed the Hunting Party from her as well, but was disappointed in the Paris Apartment. Her newest, the Midnight Feast, was a good redemption from the Paris Apartment, but doesn’t fly as high as the guest list did.

Lucy nails the dual perspective writing as always. Each character has their own dialect, personality, and tone that makes it easy to read in each characters voice.

The twists were somewhat predictable in this story. Some I saw coming, while others were good turns. This book also contains local folklore to add mystery to the plot, something she has not introduced in other novels.

While this was a good read, I would wait to purchase on paper back or through the library.
