📖 God’s Commission to Joshua

The main point that stands out to me within verses 1-2 is God calling Joshua to rise to the role that he was appointed for only after Moses died.

I am one that struggles with the right time or an appointed time for the visions and gifts that I have. It didn't matter if Joshua knew who he was or what he was going to do, it only mattered for him to be ready when he was called. Everything after he "stood up" had to be completed in obedience and faithfulness in connection with God. Many are called but how many actually stand up in faith?
