this summer... i took up an internship! 👯🤍

First and foremost, I am eternally grateful for the company I am in + the exposure that I have gained during the span of this internship as a Fund Intern! It might not be anything grand but I think this is truly an experience I'll remember for q awhile~ 🥹🤍

1️⃣ Application Process

Started applying for summer internships as early as Nov-23, and I think I got a few opportunities & ultimately decided to stick to this role!

I applied to lots of companies & ultimately heard back from a few - so I kinda shortlisted what I wanted more from there:")

At the end I think (thankfully) they reached back to me and I got the role!

2️⃣ What to expect, etc

I think thru my Poly internship (which was also another Fund Intern role), I kinda was able to "gauge" what to expect in my role - but because this is a smaller company, I really got to first-hand experience things & attend conferences which I thought was q interesting~~

i think this is more of "managing expectations", and expect the unexpected!

Dressing wise - Kind of got a rough idea from my previous internship so I relied on that + how I kinda got myself in the "work mode" after exams ended (this internship started a week after my exams ended)

3️⃣ Culture

The culture here in this company is so different from what I've experienced previously, and I do think that I prefer this sm better~

From my experience, I q looove the culture here & 10/10 a good summer spent~
