Hi Zesties π
I think by now, my page is 90% Korea content, but these are things I absolutely LOVE sharing and I hope you do too:")
Here's some tips & hacks on how to NOT overspend at Olive Young when in Korea~~ π°
1οΈβ£ Budget
As cliche as it sounds, budgeting will better help you sort out and think whether you truly need it, or is it a "want", because it's a viral product?
As we all know, Olive Young products goes p viral on Tiktok, and I guess it's also a question to ask yourself if your skin is suitable with XX product?
Do your research!
2οΈβ£ Compare
Compare some of the OY prices to those of Shopee (ie Shopee Torriden Official) - are you saving money if you buy them online? Or are you spending a little more?
This may be a little bit far-fetched cause some might think to just get it now since they're already there, but honestly (in my opinion) OY products can also be easily found online at a better price! (Without the worry whether it is within my luggage weight) π
3οΈβ£ Find on-sale items
At OY, different OYs have different on-sale items! For example - Myeongdong OY can offer it at cost but maybe Hongdae OY offer it at 20% off (or vice versa)~~
Also ESPECIALLY at touristy OYs, a staff will usually be walking around for you to do survey and in return you'll get a free product (I got a sheet mask that time at Myeongdong)
Lots of OY also have 1 for 1 products (ie the viral clinic use rubber mask) so it's best to maximise your time at OY! π
I think these are the crucial THREE (3) steps that I strictly abide to when shopping at OY because I truly don't see the point of overspending when most products can be found online (and arguably cheaper)
They also have an app for OY, but not really sure if vouchers can be used for in-person transactions!
