COME GOLD DIGGING WITH ME FOR SI DIAN JIN 💰⛏️

My Guo Da Li is coming soon and we have yet to get the most important Si Dian Jin and was low key panicking. We tried searching online from reputable jewellery shops such as SK, Lee Hwa and Poh Heng but nothing caught my eye. The usual 四点金 are damn thick, chunky and fugly. The designs were so outdated and we couldn’t bear to spend a bomb on something that’s so 🤮🫠

Me and my partner (+ MIL) agreed that we should get something that I can wear out for formal occasions or even dress down if I want to. We didn’t want to pick something that expensive and left collecting dust in the safe… so after doing a couple of quick research on lemon8 I chance upon this shop Chung Hwa recommended by a couple of zesties! Decided to drop by People’s Park Complex to have a look and this was the best decision everrrr!! We go everything within 1.5hrs 🤭

When you first arrive at the shop you’ll be greeted with a queue. This shop is one of the more popular ones with no gst hence the queue. Most of the staff are aunties/uncles/ bengs with not the best attitude BUT their varieties provided was quite insane. They have A LOT of dupes. From Tiffany & Co to LV to carrier to Christian Dior to Van Cleef. Just show them the design of the authentic piece and they can give you the gold version 🤭

I wouldn’t say they are fake as they are made of real 916 gold, it’s not exactly cheap but definitely cheaper than the real deal. Every price is hand made thus workmanship differs for each, if there’s a piece u really like but the design may be a bit wonky/scratchy just ask for a new one to compare. Depending on the budget you have you can choose thicker chunkier chains or even thin dainty pieces.

It was our first time buying gold so we’re kinda suaku but usually each piece of gold Jewelry comes with a tag stating how many grams of gold there is. Based on the gold price ($90+ to $100+) you then multiplied by the grams to get the cost of the gold. That’s not all, you still have to add the workmanship price that ranges from $50-$400 depending on how intricate the design or if u want something custom made that’s possible too. A very basic Cartier Love ring in Size 13 cost about $820, slightly cheaper than the real deal and you know it’s gold so you can sell it off in the future!

We spent mid 4 digits on 7 pieces of items and we were super happy with it! If you’re looking to get some gold items as accessories or for guo da li si dian jin, I will highly recommend to give this place a shot✨
