Apple Bourbon Smash Mocktail

Recipe

3 oz non-alcoholic whiskey alternative

2 oz fresh apple cider

1 tsp cinnamon syrup

Ice

Top with sparkling cranberry juice

To a short glass add 3 oz non-alcoholic whiskey alternative, 2 oz fresh apple cider, and 1 tsp cinnamon syrup. Fill the glass with ice, leaving a little room up top. Top with sparkling cranberry juice. Garnish with an apple slice, a cinnamon stick, and star anise. Enjoy with a warm autumn meal.

Tip

This drink goes especially well with turkey of any kind. I loved with warm, smoked turkey sandwiches.

If you want a more complex drink, you can use pumpkin spice syrup instead of cinnamon.
