I decided to create this glow-up challenge as a way to improve my physical and mental health throughout November.
The holidays are fast approaching and the hustle and bustle are soon to start. I’m embarking on this challenge and I hope you’ll join me so that we can tackle the busiest season of the year with a fresh start and clear mind.
One change I’ve started to make is being more selective with what I fuel my body with. I used to order take-out a lot until I found a couple of great recipes I’m obsessed with. Now I don’t even want to eat out because the recipes I make at home are ten times better! Lol
Another somewhat recent change I’ve made is regular gym sessions. I used to work out so much more in my early to mid-20s. I’m not sure why, but I fell off the bandwagon for some time.
One thing that really helped me get back on track is discovering your “WHY”. This can be a simple, but strong reason you want to work out. For me, it’s as simple as I feel mentally better. I feel like I’m happier after 30 minutes of cardio every day. Figure out a strong “WHY” statement for you and exercising will become so much easier!
