back with another book review from one of my latest summer reads 😋 i just finished this one and wanted to share my thoughts!!!! No spoilers - duh!!

🌟 Genre: Psychological Thriller

💬 Short Summary: William was having an affair, and he comes home angrily after it ends. He finds his daughter home, lashes out at her, and then leaves. When he returns later that night, Avery is missing.

Key Point 1: William is a trash dad

Key Point 2: Erin and Michael deserve NONE of this

Key Point 3: Avery is the worst, but we still want to find her.

I was obsessed with this book when I started it. I didn’t love the “twist”, but I was still hopeful. It got better after the twist and I was so interested to see what the author would do. There was hope until the very end. I did not like the “cliffhanger” ending (which I’m not sure if it’s an actual cliffhanger but felt like it). The ending left me wanting more. Honestly I think if we would have ended a few chapters earlier (when the police make their accidental discovery), I would have liked it more. Overall still really good book and would def recommend!!

What did you guys think of this one??? This is my first audiobook in a long time and I really enjoyed it!! Are yall more audio or physical book readers??
